Stop by the Jitsi stream to share your progress and talk to other jam participants!

Nope.

If an author publishes something for free to download, it doesn't give you permission to redistribute it, not to mention relicense it under different terms, unless that is explicitly mentioned in the agreement.

Not Lisp, but he tried! Congrats on learning a new language anyway. Please include licensing information though.

Unfortunately, the authors of the sprites and audio you have  linked do not mention any licensing information that is compatible with the Lisp Game Jam. Future jam participants should be able to freely use, modify, and redistribute any code or assets from past Lisp Game Jam events, and currently there is no licensing information mentioned to permit them to do so. Please keep this in mind for next time.

Please include the licensing information for the assets. Future jam participants should be able to freely use, modify, and redistribute any code or assets from past Lisp Game Jam events, and currently there is no licensing information mentioned for the assets to permit them to do so.

Please include the credits and licensing information for any assets used (even if you created them). I really like this game. Everything from the art style, to how the art was executed (tiny sprites scaled up and arranged from smaller parts), to the game mechanics and idea as a whole -- all coming from a developer completely new to Common Lisp. I gotta hand it to him and borodust on this one. He's a welcome new addition to the lispgames community. A+

There are a lot of nice Guile Scheme libraries. Dave Thompson's chickadee is supposed to be really nice as well: https://dthompson.us/projects/chickadee.html

Post your progress!

Throw a dart - that genre ;)

If the game logic is in Lisp I don't see the problem. You'll need to use foreign libraries for any project, even if it's just SDL or OpenGL bindings.

I don't see why not -- Clojure is a well-known acceptable Lisp. Happy hacking!

Great job

Awesome!

It probably makes sense to register individually and submit them under each account, just to get a sense of who did what and how many people are actually participating, but there is no rule for this so do what you want :)

If you have any other questions, feel free to drop by #lispgames on Freenode IRC, where there are many people there to help.

Of course!

Welcome, and thanks for participating in the bi-annual Lisp Game Jam! To get an idea of who everyone is, and their game ideas for this installment, we ask that you take a moment to introduce yourself and explain your great idea in this thread. Good luck, and we can't wait to see your entries!
